Growing up in Connecticut, Rita was always looking for an opportunity to be active and compete, playing as many sports as she could from a young age. She started playing lacrosse at seven years old and quickly fell in love with the game. After years of playing club lacrosse, she continued her career at Adelphi University on Long Island, where she played midfield. During her time at Adelphi, Rita was a captain and two-time All American as she helped lead the team to two NCAA Championship appearances.

After graduating with a degree in Psychology, Rita moved to California and is excited to continue her journey in lacrosse through coaching. She hopes to share her experiences as a player while helping athletes grow their confidence, develop their skills, and find the same love for the game that has kept her connected to lacrosse for so many years.

Outside of lacrosse, Rita enjoys spending time at the beach, playing any sort of competitive activities, hanging out with friends and family, and exploring new places!
